Honoring Our Heritage of Collective Effort

Our ancestors practiced traditions of mutual aid, known as Hashar or Aashar, where communities mobilized in large groups to accomplish significant tasks within a single day. That is still the case today in our motherland. This spirit of unity and cooperation is deeply rooted in our cultures and continues to inspire our work today.

How You Can Contribute to Saba Center

Your involvement can make a significant impact on our community. Here are several ways you can help:

1. Event Organization and Management
   • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing cultural and social events, public gatherings, and orientation sessions to foster community engagement.
2. Community Development Initiatives
   • Introduce innovative ideas and programs that address the evolving needs of our community, enhancing our collective growth and well-being.
3. Project Implementation Support
   • Collaborate with us to bring various projects to fruition, ensuring they effectively serve and benefit community members.
4. Educational and Recreational Activities
   • Support and lead activities such as:
     • Soccer programs for children and adults
     • English language classes for kids
     • Civic education courses
5. Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship
   • Organize and participate in orientation events, sharing your experiences and knowledge to guide newcomers in adapting to their new environment.
